ABOUT ME

Hi friend! So happy to have you here. I'm Megan, the owner of ​AUREA Skin​!

Throughout my high school and college years, I struggled with acne and other skin concerns. It wasn't until I started regular facial treatments during college that I truly understood the transformative power of skincare. While I loved every session, the idea of offering these treatments myself never crossed my mind.

Now, let me share a little about how this esthetician journey began: after college, I found myself in various remote roles that just didn't quite spark my passion. It wasn't until a heart-to-heart with a friend, who happens to be an esthetician, that everything clicked into place. Inspired by her enthusiasm, I wasted no time and enrolled in beauty school the very next day. And here we are now 3 years later!

I was born and raised in Washington State making it the perfect place to start my business among familiar faces and supportive loved ones. After two years of treating wonderful clients, my husband and I packed up and moved to Kentucky! I changed the business name from Forget Me Not Esthetics to AUREA Skin (AUREA means golden and we are a little obsessed with our golden pups) and could’t be happier to be open in KY.

I'm incredibly grateful for the support of everyone who has helped shape AUREA Skin into what it is today. Whether it's been through personal visits, virtual consultations, product purchases, or simply spreading the love on social media, each interaction has made a difference, and for that, I am truly thankful!
